President Obama downplays Iranian nuclear threat against Israel
In an email from Mike Evans of “Jerusalem Prayer Team (JPT)”, we get the confirmation that President Obama is NOT really on the side of Israel.
If America’s own President does not stand with Israel, does that mean our nation is on the wrong side of God? Some believe the answer is “YES” and yet others say that God has nothing to do with our position toward Israel. This article does not answer that question, but some of us must wonder if we are on the wrong side when we are not more actively protecting Israel.
The question should be “What will happen to Israel if America does not stand with them and does not try more actively to protect them from their dangerous and hateful enemies; especially when their enemies are neighbors and surround them. These enemies are Muslim who want to see the Jewish Nation wiped off the map.
Whether you believe or not that America should be in the business of policing the world to protect Israel, the fact remains that our two nations are allies and that we are friends. In addition, agreements have been made between the two nations that should be honored. So if, for no other reason, we should not stand by and watch an American friend and allie be steadily threatened, bombed, and killed–just because they are Jews. We owe that much to them as an allie.
Mike Evans email reports the following: “The next few weeks will be literally some of the most critical times in the entire modern existence of the nation of Israel. The Jewish state is surrounded by enemies. We must stand for God’s Chosen People now as never before.
On Wednesday President Obama arrives for meetings with Israeli and Palestinian leaders. Last weekend he gave an interview to an Israeli television station in which he downplayed the threat of Iran’s nuclear program to Israel. Despite the clear evidence from the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) that Iran is rapidly accelerating its enrichment program, Mr. Obama declared that there was no imminent danger of Iran having a nuclear weapon. He did repeat his declaration that such would be “unacceptable,” but that gives little comfort to those of us who remember the same thing being said about North Korea—which now has nuclear weapons.
The nation of Israel urgently needs our help, support, encouragement and prayers right now. This is a prophetic crisis, foretold in the pages of scripture. We are watching it happen before our eyes. Today I am asking you to join me in urgent prayer. As God leads perhaps you would fast for one meal or one day as we pray together for His blessing and protection on His Chosen People.”

Editor’s Comment: I am not Jewish but I am impressed by this video and the Jerusalem World Center.
“Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude to God as the fulfillment of a dream He placed in my spirit more than thirty years ago is becoming a reality. When we signed the contract for the purchase of the building that will house the Jerusalem World Center—within walking distance of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem—we were reminded once again that every promise from God is certain and sure, no matter how long we have to wait for it.”
