You have likely seen these pictures sent in emails last year. These pictures are brought up again now because our law makers are trying to give amnesty and free citizenship to many of the same people who participated in this march. What do you think about this concept?
Students took part in a walkout in an attempted to influence Congress, which was debating immigration policy and cracking down on illegal immigrants in the country.
Although the flag-raising took place at Montebello high school, officials of the Montebello Unified School District quickly pointed out that these protesters were not students from Montebello high school.
Assistant Superintendent Robert Henke said the high school was under a lock-down and all the students were in their classrooms.
- 800 to 1000 students were from neighboring school districts
- El Rancho Unified School District and the Whittier Union High School District.
They marched to Montebello high school, lowered the flags, replaced the school flag with a Mexican flag, flew the U.S. flag upside down, and stole the California flag that had been on the pole.
This story and other’s are giving us a peek into the future if the Democrats pass The Dream Act; it’s a terrible law and a bad idea. The problem is that Washington isn’t listening to the demands of people along the border who are begging Washington to secure the border.
